Freeform contours can be pre-drawn in the Measurement App, which is especially useful for right-angled sketches. Directional changes can be made using the arrow keys on the Digital Tape Measure or Laser Distance Meter, allowing you to create a digital sketch (e.g. a floor plan) using only the buttons on the measuring device. The area and perimeter are instantly displayed and can be viewed in the App at any time.
