From Digital Measuring to Precision Cutting: A Shower Back Panel Without Errors
In this project, Juri from Glas Scholl in Duisburg demonstrates how a shower back panel can be measured quickly and accurately using the Solaflex digital measuring system.
In bathroom installations, precision is essential. Cut-outs for fittings, fixtures, and niches must be positioned exactly, as on-site modifications are usually not possible.
The measurement was carried out in Coordinate Mode, where each relevant point of the back panel is captured and defined individually. This makes it easy to record even complex geometries and cut-outs with millimeter precision.
The measurement data was visualized instantly in the Solaflex Measuring App and then exported directly as a DXF file, ready for further processing.
The Result
A precisely cut glass panel with perfectly positioned cut-outs for fittings and connections—ready for installation without any on-site modifications.
What was once a complex measuring task becomes a streamlined digital workflow—fast, accurate, and reliable from measurement to installation.
