Perfectly Fitting Curves and Cut-Outs
In this project, two gently curved steps lead up to a tiled landing. In addition, cut-outs for ventilation grilles had to be incorporated with maximum precision.
Using the Solaflex Digital Measuring System, the entire contour was captured directly on-site. The curves of the steps, as well as the positions and dimensions of the cut-outs, were digitized with millimetre accuracy and displayed in the digital drawing.
Typical Challenge:
Traditional measuring methods using templates or stair gauges are time-consuming.
The Solaflex Solution:
Based on the digital measuring data, the tiles were cut precisely before installation. This significantly reduced the amount of work required on-site, allowing for a faster and cleaner installation.
